Taking Advantage of Seniors

Not to get too political, but I think this is a pretty prime, real-life example of the kind of advantage we all try to take or assume we can take of the elderly at some times, just on account of assuming that they’ll not be as mentally sharp: http://www.upi.com/Top_News/2009/03/03/Elderly_widow_accuses_casino_of_fraud/UPI-43401236104040/.

It’s news from a couple of weeks ago – I wonder how the case is proceeding? To give some backstory really quick: a casino seems to be attempting to take advantage of a somewhat elderly woman (not really very old – 78 years old) by claiming that she didn’t actually win a jackpot that she claims to have won. Seems like it’d be easy to convince her that she didn’t win, but luckily this woman is standing up against the casino, trying to get money she believes is rightful her due.
