Sensors Help Keep the Elderly Safe, and at Home
Comments | Posted by Jared Scheib in Topical Links
An article in the New York Times from two days ago reports on the use of technology (specifically, different types of health and movement sensors) in America to help the elderly live on their own longer, without having to go into assisted living. Check it out by clicking here. Very interesting.
What’s your take on this? Is this a good thing? Should this be how a person lives? Should they be encouraged to move into senior living or somewhere else? My ultimate question is, why would a person requiring such sensors want to continue living alone at that age anyway?
