One of the our characters from the short version of Life’s Waltz that we made in our final semester at USC sent me an email recently with this link. At one point, we were heavily considered searching out old people who did really outrageous activities–in fact, for instance, at one point we were about to go film an 80+ man who skydives. In the end, we were so enthralled by the goings-on inside of TVN and ostensibly “ordinary” seniors–how remarkable and alive live could be for regular people just like us–that we decided to stick just to TVN. This is what we would have presumably hunted for if we had continued pursuing the “extreme seniors” idea as well: an 80-year-old lady swing dancing like she’s 20. Incredible–check it out!
